New Partnerships and Collaborations

https://www.battlefieldaddiction.com/

We have recently started collaborations with Battle Field Addiction. Their vision statement is impactful! (see below)

VISION STATEMENT

At Battlefield Addiction, we envision a world where families, addicts, and communities are transformed, connected, accountable, and able to work in partnership to eliminate the suffering that occurs with addiction. Addicts will be empowered to employ new solutions, will be supported in their efforts, and will become healthy, functioning, self-sufficient, and contributing members of their families and communities. Families will be empowered to function as the primary support system and safety net they are meant to be and communities will become unburdened by addiction related crime, homelessness, and public health issues and gain a powerful resource of highly-functioning, capable, and accountable citizens.

Our Recovery Navigator Program will be setting up a booth for Battle Field Addictions’ 4th annual walk / run 5k Run For Recovery 2023.

We had a successful first open mic night! We plan to continue our open mic nights, be sure to check our calendars for updates!

YAYA

Our youth celebrated National Pinata Day with a perfectly filled pinata.

Our youth participated in study hall and discussed several important topics at snack and chat. They discussed Alcohol Awareness Month, How We Change, Cultural Differences, and Refocusing Yourself. These sessions give our youth the opportunity to learn new and impactful topics with their peers. It provides an atmosphere of safety and transparency.

We look forward to continuing to grow as an organization and we will continue to update as we move forward.
